Tamu Kianggeh 14/12/2008

Words cant describe the variety of our market 'Tamu Kianggeh'. Located in the heart of the capital, the logistic is just convenient for the likes of our locals especially the ones from Kg Air to do their business.

Product ranging from fresh vegetables, fruits, wet and dry foods, among them the traditional kueh karing, local handicrafts, 'special stones and woods', stalls selling nasi lemak, nasi campur, kueh-kuehan etc.

No wonder our beloved HM consented on the repairing of this place. Maybe the intension was the preservation of our tradition and culture.

Since my parents-inlaw are returning home on Monday, we decided to drop by to get some kueh-kueh karing eg Buah Hulu & Kueh Cincin.

We were also lucky to get some big fresh prawns at a bargain.

Bargaining in action........

One of my favourite shot... tempurung as piggy bank & basket.

Scaryyyy... its just the name kata the hawker.

So old yet so strong!

One of the surviving skill we can find is making Ketupat.
